The story you're about to read happened a short while after Se received his first amulet. These are not exactly his words (hopefully we can sit him down at a computer one of these days and get the story from closer to the horses mouth -- no offense). Given the many hours that Se has spent performing, one would think we'd have a vlog of this. Turns out no. So here is "the best of our recollection."
At the time of this story Se (originally from Ireland) was living in Vancouver. It was here that he began taking Tai Chi lessons from Master Chung.
Master Chung has a venerable reputation as a master Tai Chi instructor. But, he had not performed movements for the class in quite some time.
After Se received his CQR amulet, he felt such an uplifting to his daily Tai Chi practice that he wanted to ask Master Chung what he thought of the devices.
Walking up to Master Chung and blurting out: "Hey what do you think of this thing?" did not seem like the thing to do -- a bit too course for the refined space of the Tai Chi studio. So, Se discretely put a table-top version of the amulet on table near Master Chung. Since these devices have a wide circle of effect, he was curious to see if Master Chung would notice anything -- giving an opportunity for Se to ask his question.
Interestingly enough, that nice for the first time in many years Master Chung got up and performed with the class. A rare treat indeed.
In the picture shown here, you can see Master Chung, his wife and the whole class wearing CQR amulets. Apparently the Master Chung noticed and liked what he noticed.
